In school, my friends and I used to usually catch up at a Local Dhaba for a dinner at least once in a fortnight. We enjoyed eating Mughlai food then and used to chat a lot about Accounts, Business Studies and the super duper Mathematics. All of us separated when we pursued our higher studies. But, after 4 long years, yesterday night we all planned to sit for a dinner again. Chinese cuisines were pounding heavily in our heads. Everyone had something different in their minds, but, what could be better than Bercos?
The décor of this restaurant is unique. A dim lit hall with red Chinese lamp shades hung on the walls. The light from the lamp shade falls centrally over the table making the ambience soft enough for a dinner. It was dinner time so it was better to order something fast and quick in the appetizers. The Juicy Chicken Drumsticks are something which are indeed juicy and are a must try. Chicken drumsticks baked and applied with orange-honey sauce combined with soy gives an amazing blend. And, then it’s the Mongolian Chicken with Steamed Rice. I’m sure most of you must’ve had this dish. Well assorted soy sauce, red pepper flakes, cornstarch and chicken with onion make this dish as one of the specialties of Berco’s. Even better, try out the traditional Fruit Beer of Berco’s with this, you’ll feel even more contented. Dinner wasn’t over yet, so we had to have Lemon Chicken. I can only say one thing about it - “Satisfaction guaranteed!” Fruit beer, Mongolian chicken and steamed rice makes me realize that the food was fantastic. The spices, soy and chicken used by this Chinese restaurant are special.
How can I forget my friends busy in consuming this sumptuous food over here with me? Moreover, friends uniting after a long period and a supper filled with joy, old memories and of course the Chinese cuisines.
